OUR HISTORY

Established in 2005 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Share Dimension, the parent company of Cinema Intelligence, began its journey by providing customized business software solutions with data intelligence. With a strong desire to combine innovative technology driven by business intelligence and a commitment to stellar customer service, Share Dimension co-developed an investment portfolio management analytics platform with a financial asset management firm.

Share Dimension’s next big project was a partnership with Sustainalytics, a global leader in ESG (Environmental, Social and, Governance) research and ratings, the goal was to develop its online research platform. The development of the platform was a success, Share Dimension sold the platform to Sustainalytics in 2011. As a result of the acquisition, Claudiu was appointed as the CTO and managed their IT and Engineering department for the next 4 years.

In 2009, Share Dimension began its first steps into the cinema industry. In collaboration with the leading Dutch cinema chain, Pathé Nederlands, Share Dimension developed its first cinema industry product, Cinema Scheduler. The partnership was a success and opened doors for many more cinema partnerships in the European markets. With a resolve and focus to further assist the needs of cinema exhibitors, Share Dimension expanded its product line and introduced the Cinema Intelligence Suite at CineEurope in June 2014.

In 2016 Share Dimension entered into a strategic partnership with the Vista Group, which now owns 50% of the company. The partnership significantly expanded Share Dimension’s reach, particularly in the US, and provides significant synergies both on the product side as well as the customer side. The partnership is bringing in a unique expertise in business intelligence and advanced predictive analytics to empower many of Vista’s existing customers.
